• Buying a Stroller

    Choosing a stroller should not be a stressful decision. By evaluating different points, the right stroller will stand out. Price should be the last consideration. Get a pen, paper, and make a list of things you want the stroller to have. Storage space, the ability to carry more than one child, ease of folding, the ability to work with a car seat, and so on.

    Decide which of these is the most important, and which item(s) could be done without if price becomes an issue.

    Do not leave out evaluating the wheels on the stroller. Large rubber wheels are great for the roads and sidewalks, but getting the stroller into tight spaces, such as a city bus is more difficult. Small wheels are better for tight spaces and getting onto the bus, but they tend to belong to lightweight strollers that do not last long. These wheels are often made of foam instead of sturdier rubber.

    Take the list to the store and talk to the associates. They will help locate one or more models that fit. Write these models down, and search the stores, sales and online for the best prices. Remember to look for coupons for both in-store and online shopping.
